My relationship with sarees began quietly — not as a business idea, but as a feeling.

There was always something about the way a saree carries itself — effortless, rooted, and deeply expressive. What started as a personal admiration for draping slowly turned into curiosity… and then into a deeper appreciation for everything that exists behind a single piece of fabric.

The more I explored, the more I found myself drawn to the hands that create — the weavers, the hours of labour, the patience, and the generational knowledge woven into every thread.

DARISA grew from that space.

Not out of urgency, but intention.

It became my way of bringing together pieces that feel meaningful — sarees that are not just beautiful to wear, but thoughtful in where they come from and how they are made.

To me, a saree holds more than form.
It carries memory, identity, and a quiet kind of confidence.
