REFUND, RETURN, EXCHANGE & CANCELLATION POLICY
At DARISA, every handwoven piece is curated with care, patience, and intention—from the first thread to the final fold. We hope your purchase brings you a sense of connection and quiet joy when it reaches you. However, if something does not feel quite right, we are here to support you.
Returns & Store Credit
We accept return requests for non-sale items that are:
- Unused, unwashed, and undamaged
- Returned with original tags and packaging intact
- Accompanied by all original inclusions, including saree covers and complimentary items (freebies), as originally delivered
Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
Once the returned product passes our quality check, we will issue a store credit (coupon code) equivalent to the product value, valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Please note:
- Store credit is non-refundable and cannot be converted into cash
- It is valid for use on our website only
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable
- If original packaging or complimentary items are not returned, a nominal deduction may be applied to the store credit
Exchange Policy
We offer exchanges only in the following cases:
- Incorrect product delivered (does not match order confirmation)
- Manufacturing defect
- Size-related concerns (eligible only for exchange with the same product, subject to availability)
Requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
Important Note:
Exchange is subject to product availability.
Return & Exchange Exclusions
The following are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Customised products (size, colour, blouse stitching, etc.)
- Sale items or purchases made during exhibitions/pop-ups
- Products showing signs of use, washing, or damage
- Natural irregularities in weave, texture, or colour inherent to handwoven textiles
- Minor colour variations due to screen/display differences
Return/Exchange Process
To initiate a return or exchange, please email us at care@darisabydevashree.com with:
- Order number
- Delivery address
- Reason for return/exchange
- Images (mandatory for defective/incorrect items)
- Unboxing video clearly showing the issue (mandatory for claims)
Once approved, return instructions and the shipping address will be shared.
The product must be shipped within 10 days of approval.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect product
- We recommend using a reliable courier service with tracking
Exchange Shipping
- For approved exchanges, customers are responsible for shipping the product back to us
- DARISA will bear the cost of shipping the exchanged product to the customer (one time only)
Please note:
- In case of defective or incorrect items, DARISA will bear the shipping cost for both return and re-shipment
- Only one exchange per order will be accommodated
Refund Policy
DARISA does not offer monetary refunds, except in the following cases:
- Order cancelled due to product unavailability (before dispatch)
- Verified fulfilment failure from our end
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original mode of payment.
Non-Refundable Situations
No refunds or credits will be issued if:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address is provided
- There are three failed delivery attempts
- The package is refused by the recipient
Cancellation Policy
Orders once placed are final and cannot be cancelled.
Cash on Delivery orders may be cancelled by Darisa if not confirmed or if deemed high-risk based on internal verification.
If an order is cancelled from our end due to product unavailability, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Important Note
As our products are handcrafted, slight variations in weave, texture, and colour are natural and form a part of their unique character. These are not considered defects.
