DARISA was created for the woman who loves tradition, but seeks ease, comfort, and timeless elegance in everyday life.

We thoughtfully curate handloom sarees that are lightweight, graceful, and easier to wear—pieces chosen for fluid drape, wearable comfort, and fabrics that move with you through real days, not just rare occasions.

Selected styles are pleat-friendly, easier to handle, and designed to feel less demanding than conventional sarees. With wrinkle-resistant practicality and lighter textures, they are made for women who want elegance without excess effort.

As we grew, we recognised that not every woman begins her saree journey at the same place.
To make sarees more accessible for everyday wear, we introduced Darisa Ease—a thoughtfully created powerloom collection designed for comfort, simplicity, and lighter price points, while maintaining the aesthetic sensibility of the brand.

Our core handloom collections continue to remain at the heart of DARISA, supporting skilled artisans and preserving the depth of traditional craftsmanship.

The name DARISA draws inspiration from the Irish word “Dar”, meaning the Oak tree—a symbol of strength, deep roots, and longevity. Much like the oak, every DARISA saree is grounded in heritage and chosen to be cherished beyond seasons.

Founded by Devashree, the brand began from a personal love for draping and evolved into a deeper purpose: to honour skilled artisans and bring their craftsmanship to women who value intention over excess.
